Our Team
Franklin Edwards, Academic Tutor:
At the helm of our academic tutoring services is Franklin Edwards, a dynamic 23-year-old entrepreneur. A graduate of Manvel High School, Franklin went on to attend Florida Memorial University, He brings a fresh perspective to tutoring. With a passion for academic success and a track record of mentoring in both Frisco ISD and Plano ISD, Franklin is committed to empowering young students to excel in their educational journey. Currently, he dedicates his mentorship to 6th and 7th-grade students at Bridge Builders, a nonprofit organization in Dallas, Texas. As the owner of Franklin Books Bookstore & Reading Lounge and Franklin the Helper Children's Books, LLC, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our tutoring team.
Demetre Bivins, Social Mentor:
Driving our social mentoring initiatives is Franklin's mother, Demetre Bivins, a seasoned professional with a master's degree in conflict management. As the Operations Manager for Franklin's companies and the founder of the nonprofit Students Combating Bullying, Inc., Demetre is dedicated to shaping the social and emotional well-being of students. With a desire to impart the same social guidance that nurtured Franklin's success, Demetre is committed to fostering resilience, effective communication, and interpersonal skills in our young learners.
Together, Franklin and Demetre form a dynamic duo, blending academic support with a passion for holistic student development.
