Position Overview The Vendor Sales Event Representative position is pivotal in the execution of successful events. This position is responsible for attending local in-person events, managing the event vendor space, and obtaining donations and/or selling Franklin the Helper Children’s books.
Duties and Responsibilities • Obtain donations and/or sell Franklin the Helper books • Give accurate, clear, and detailed information to customers regarding Franklin the Helper Children’s books. • Give accurate, clear, and detailed information to customers regarding the company’s mission and philanthropic acts. • Ensure adequate inventory for each event • Set up and break down event props • Ensure all props are in good and presentable condition for each event • Manage payments and donations during events. • Participate in Zoom event debriefing meetings when scheduled • Accurately complete the event activity log post each event via online portal
Skills Required • Very effective verbal communication • Knowledge and utilization of relevant technology • Excellent time management skills • Ability to carry out written and verbal instructions • Ability to carry out various tasks simultaneously and efficiently
Working Conditions • Outside under a canopy 90% • Lift approximately 15-20 pounds
Minimum Education Qualifications • High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of college preferred
